Our Vision

Portobello Football Club proudly represents the world-famous Portobello Road in Notting Hill, London. Competing in the Middlesex County Football League, Division 2, Portobello FC is a hyper-local football club that aspires to become the 'Venezia of English football'.

Portobello Road is a place of colour, culture, and creativity. Our vision is to be the most creative, and most fashionable, football club in England - to be a true reflection of the community we represent, a community that isn't afraid to be bold.

Our jerseys are made 100% independently. Our DIY-approach to fashion means that as a club, we retain complete creative control and we are not limited to uninspired template designs produced by standard sportswear brands. By producing our jerseys independently we are also able to retail our jerseys at a much more affordable price, incorporating the deep-rooted working class values of meaningful access and inclusivity that have been historic in our neighbourhood.

 

 

We are The Peacocks 🦚... Behind the Badge: The peacock, a symbol of pride, integrity, and beauty. A bird as colourful as Portobello Road, a nod to the Notting Hill Carnival, and a promise to play the beautiful game the way it is supposed to be played. The crown, a symbol to represent the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea – our wider community.
